・ Is there any service available for us to use that is ready to use, safe and low cost?
Business Overview 2

■ Business Overview

J-Notary notarizes electronic documents and certifies their authenticity all online, just as public notaries do on paper documents face to face. With dPROVE, users can send and receive electronic documents securely, safely and surely over the internet regardless of their file size, type, and contents. With dPROVE, all transactional logs associated with the electronic documents as to "who" sent "what" to "whom" and "when" are recorded and made available to users online, providing confirmation and tracking capabilities i.e. audit trails.

Repository and sharing services are also available to dPROVE users. The Repository Service allows dPROVE users to store their registered files in our secure database servers. The Sharing Service enables dPROVE users to give access to their registered files to the individuals they designate, thus allowing secure sharing and exchange of the digital files.

See User Authentication Technology and Electronic Documents Notarization Technology for further information on PKI-based digital certificates, advanced message digest algorithm, and third party time stamp system.

■ Certification Service

The Certification Service, the core component of dPROVE, proves the identity of your digital files. First, register your digital file on the dPROVE website and receive a proof of registration. Upon successful presentation of the digital file and the corresponding proof of registration, J-Notary issues a certificate confirming that the file presented and the one previously registered are digitally identical. The certificate also includes the name of the person who registered the file and the date and time of the registration, providing information on "Who" and "When" of the digital file. The Certification Service makes forgery, tampering and unauthorized alteration of digital documents virtually impossible.

NOTE:
The proof of registration is a XML file containing information needed to identify the digital file presented for certification. Imagine the cash card in the real world. Just as you can get cash by presenting the cash card to the bank, you can get the certificate of authenticity by presenting the proof of registration to J-Notary.

The registration is done without uploading the digital file to J-Notary's server. Your file never leaves your PC, which makes the Certification Service suitable for confidential files you feel uncomfortable leaving your hands, such as customer database, patent information, etc.

■ Repository Service

The Repository Service allows dPROVE users to store electronic files safely and securely in J-Notary's electronic cabinet for a period of time specified by the users. The electronic cabinet is housed in a state-of-the-art data center facility that is protected by advanced security systems and operated under strict security policy. The stored data is encrypted for additional confidentiality. Only those who have the right can access the data. All the files stored in the electronic cabinet are continuously backed up to prevent data loss.

The users and those authorized by the users can download any of the saved files anytime as needed (See the Sharing Service).

■ Sharing Service

The users and those authorized by the users (sharing partners) can download any of the saved files anytime as needed. The Sharing Service enables dPROVE users to give access to their registered files to the individuals they designate, thus allowing secure sharing and exchange of the digital files. J-Notary keeps track of sharing partners' download and notifies users upon completion.
